What are the uses of plastic powder

Plastic powder, plastic superfine powder, resin powder Plastic is a synthetic polymer compound polymer, also known as macromolecules or macromolecules (macromolecules), also commonly known as plastics resins, you can freely change the body style. It is a material synthesized by using monomer raw materials for synthesis or condensation reaction. It is composed of synthetic resins and fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, lubricants, colorants and other additives.

Plastics are roughly divided into two types: thermoplastic and thermoset. Thermoplastic is that the material will soften after heating, and will harden into the shape we need after cooling, and can be softened repeatedly. The thermosetting type will condense into a certain shape after heating, and reheating to a certain degree will destroy the internal structure of the molecule, releasing one or more of the elements will detach and become other composites.

Some plastics can be directly obtained in the powder state by crystallization in the synthetic process, but most of them are about 300um. Some plastics can also get about 300um of rubber powder by spray granulation.

The plastic powder obtained by the pulverization process can be realized by most plastics. Some plastics can obtain fine powder of 200um by friction, impact and tear of the pulverizer at room temperature, such as plastics with relatively high glass transition temperature. However, the heat generated by most plastics during the pulverization process is sufficient to melt them and re-bond them again, which can cause smashing energy. If it is necessary to obtain a finer plastic powder, it can be achieved by pulverizing the plastic through a low-temperature pulverization method.
Through cold plotting, the plastic is lowered below its embrittlement temperature, and at the same time, there is sufficient cold plotting during the crushing process to take away the heat generated during the splitting process, and meet the crushing requirements. The impact crushing of plastics in the low temperature cryogenic pulverization environment is a trend of high quality requirements.
The powder fineness is generally expressed by the mesh number. The mesh number is a unit of length and the size of the sieve mesh diameter. It represents the number of aliquots within one inch, but the diameter of the mesh wire needs to be deducted.
1 micron ———- 12500 mesh
1.3 micron ——– 8000 mesh
2 microns ———- 6250 mesh
2.6 microns ——– 5000 mesh
5 microns ———- 2500 mesh
6.5 microns ——– 2000 mesh
10 micron ——— 1250 mesh
15 microns ——— 800 mesh
20 microns ——— 625 mesh
33 microns ——— 425 mesh
37 microns ——— 400 mesh
44 microns ——— 325 mesh
74 microns ——— 200 mesh
149 microns ——– 100 mesh
350 microns ——– 45 mesh

The use of coarse powder, medium powder, fine powder and superfine powder is in different requirements. In plastic powder particles, coarse powder refers to powder with a size of 5 to 60 mesh, and medium powder refers to powder with a size of 60 to 160 mesh. Fine powder 160 to 300 mesh, more than 300 mesh belongs to ultrafine powder. But according to the degree of easy crushing of different raw materials, the classification of coarse, medium, fine and ultra fine is different. For some compounds such as calcium carbonate, 300 mesh can only be regarded as coarse powder.
GEP Ecotech has PNMP knife disc pulverizer, PNMF grinding disc pulverizer and PNCR cryogenic plastic pulverizer three models. GEP Ecotech PNMF and PNMP series can make 20-120 mesh plastic powder, PNCR series cryogenic plastic pulverizer can produce 40-300 mesh plastic powder.
